Not bad for a truck stop. Every thing was good.

BEST BUFFET ON EAST COAST!!!! AWESOME FOOD GREAT PEOPLE. DEFINITELY WORTH A STOP. SERVICE IS FAST AND PLACE IS SPOTLESS!!!!

Consistent food quality and service.

Iron skillet has always been my go to restaurant as far as truck stops go but it has gone down hill big time since covid 19 hit. I get the limited menu to an extent but the offerings are slim pickings right now and this particular location is consistently out of most of the sides and sauces currently on the menu. Honestly would have been better off just eating a sandwich in the truck

Please cook foods without pork and focus on more healthy veggies.

Food was pretty good. Service wasn't great. No napkins after asking and waitress never returned to table after being served.

Food was very good, service could've been a better, but not too bad. Server was inattentive. Restaurant was clean and tables were clean.

The food was food, nothing amazing but also not bad, ehhhh it was truck stop soup salad and dinner buffet. Several other people told me they ordered off the menu and the food was great so at a minimum 4 stars because the staff here was the hardest working , friendliest group of people in the industry hands down. Genuine pleasant people doing an honest hard days job while treating everyone good to the last minute. Even as they were closing for the night they were never rude or salty to anyone. They had genuine smiles and didn't hesitate to stop what they were doing to assist. I really like the wait staff at this location.

Best place to eat. Has great buffet and you can also order from the menu. The help here always give excellent service.

Food was fast and tasty but service was really slow.

When are in the area, or passing thru the area, we always would stop to eat at the Iron Skillet in Glade Springs, Va. Always been real good food served here. We were saddened to see that they stopped being open 24 hours and started closing at 10 PM. We stopped in tonight and seen they now close at 11 PM. We will be super glad when they can go back to 24 hours...so will many other people.

Great place to eat! They have a salad and food bar that were both amazing. The ribs and chicken were delicious. They also have a menu you can order from and breakfast served all day to order. Really liked the restaurant. Will go back for sure.

I really think it was the dumbest thing you could have ever done to take a buffet out plum stupidity on yawls part bad decision bad decision you could’ve left the Buffet up and had people serve the customers from the Buffay y’all have lost a lot of truck drivers business which is very stupid

This was our 1st time to stop here and it will not be our last. We ordered steaks and they were cooked perfect. The food was delicious and the service was great. The waitress was always checking on us and was very friendly.

I ordered a sirloin steak and was served the worst cut of meat I have ever had the misfortune of seeing, let alone attempting to eat. It certainly wasn’t sirloin. If I had to guess it was what’s typically used for burgers and hot dogs...or maybe dog food. You couldn’t find a steak this bad at a supermarket. If it was a 14 ounce steak as advertised, at least 8 ounces were fat and gristle and the rest was so tough I probably burned more calories from trying to saw through it with the steak knife and chew it before giving up and depositing it into a knapkin. I would say I managed to actually swallow 3-4 ounces out of the 14.The salad bar and baked potato were ok though.

Only disappointed they close at 10pm now😭.. I always get the traditional chicken sandwich..and it's ALWAYS good!! My boyfriend gets different things and usually his is good too. We like it for a quick bite and it's easy to get in and out

I had a great omelet made to order..not on menu. Served with a large bowl of peaches. Great coffe. Double bacon cheese burger was huge. Food was good. Renee,our server,friendly and very prompt service. Clean bathrooms. Great stop when traveling.

The food is truck stop quality. The walk to the restaurant might give someone an issue. The dinning area is darker than other restaurants of the same cliential.

Service was good. Just wished it was bad the old way. Just got to wait till this virus is over

Always clean, friendly and helpful. Shops awesome they go overboard big time to make sure it's good and you are happy with the fix. Foods awesome. Don't taste like Petro wanna be food.

Great place to stop with plenty of truck parking ! The Iron Skillet has good food with Great waitresses ! Can only speak for second shift though..

The food was really good and the fried steak was huge I would have gave the place a full five stars if it wasn't for the baby cockroach crawling on my table after they dropped my food off should be glad I wasn't like most customers and make a big deal and kept it to myself all in all tho the food was good

Had a great chicken sandwich service was fast, food was very tasty, place was clean even tho lots of people were coming and going staff did a great job at keeping tables clean, coffee good also when time to pay got bill quickly fast check out also fast to back on interstate.

Nice and clean, good food

I had a pretty good experience here today. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the buffet was fairly limited. The meatloaf was very good and the salad bar was stocked well, with fresh ingredients. Overall, I was pleased, but for the $15 price tag, I'd prefer to have a few more options. I'll still visit here when I'm in the area again. Definitely beats the same old fast food options at the other truck stops.

I love eating there, food is delicious, and you get plenty to eat,for your money and I usually take half of it home for later, plus the waitress are friendly and keep coming around to see if you need anything. Family oriented.

Great food for a good price! Buffet around $10 with salad bar, main course, sides and desert bar. Great stop off with friendly staff also attached to a convenience store with full facilities.

Haven't eaten here in years, but the food was much better than it used to be (very good). And there was only one waitress, but she was excellent!

Waoo is crazy my first time having such a bad luck on 1 of this restaurant First I take the buffet . All the meat I took cold as they took it out of the refrigerator. Ok I order a steak. Well done I repeat myself well done . Ok I got mines cook but was on cook on the middle of it not bloody just cold and un cook ! I was this never happen . When they came on third time I was not hungry no more !
